i like a boy, but... Options

so basicaly i like this boy. but i dont know if he knows i even EXIST. which is pretty sad. okay. i know its a crush. but he has to know i exist because i have every class with him. and i sit 5 people away from him at lunch. just we never talk. should i go up to talk to him or wait for him to talk o me. i dont want to feel like a complete loser. so what do i do?

I was in a similiar situation as you earlier this year. My crush, I never talked to him and he was new to the school last year. Last year, his locker was only like 3 away from mines and he was in my chemistry class. But I didn't want to seem like a dumbass to go up to him and ask him for help (he was the smart one in the class).

So I guess you should strike up a conversation of any sort. Or like me, the first few times I started talking to my crush earlier this school year, I got the opportunity to do so by hanging around with the people he usually talks to in class. That way, when stupid things happen or whatsoever, it's just for fun and you wouldn't embarass yourself in any way. I still do this, even though we're friends and my friend and I moved to the back. So now he sits right beside the aisle from me. Lol. But yea. Don't worry to strike up any conversation and it's definately easier when there are people there (but not with those who know you like him! it's so embarrassing ). Or if you know something that he likes and you two are both interested in it, pretend that you don't know that he likes it and mention about it, loud enough or in front of him to a friend of yours. He will likely try to get involved in the conversation. My crush and I are totally like that. We have the same favourite television shows, the same colour, can understand each another about life at home with annoying younger siblings and et cetera. Just to give you a few ideas

& I'm pretty sure that he should know that you exist. But it all depends on how observant he is I guess. Like one of the twins at my school, I was in his chemistry class last year, too. Or was it his twin? I dunno. But yea, he thought I was new to the school this year because we never had classes, talked, or have the same group of friends. But for my crush, he actually knew I existed! Lol. I only knew because we were talking about something, and I mentioned about him being in my class last year. & he said he remembers me in the class, too. Haha. Kinda awkward when he said that he knew about when (which period and semester) I had parenting when we didn't even know each another and it wasn't the same semester we had chemistry last year! Meh. Either he heard me saying about the course or one of the dudes in the class told him, even though I didn't know any of the four dudes from that class except for one.
