okay I really want to be on the swim team at my school, but my mom won't let me because she doesn't want me usin tampons. Also, she says it will take up too much of my time, but I think I'm willing to commit to it.
Any suggestions? Oh, and sorry if this doesn't belong here...feel free to move it. :D |

I'm a swimmer. ^^; If you swim competitively, you have to be really dedicated. My swim team makes practices long and hard, and every day except Sunday's. If you think you can do it, then go ahead! I'm not sure about your team, but mine's lets people try it out for 2 weeks and then decide if you want to stay or not.
Tampons are a real pain, especically if you have a heavy period. They're really annoying to put in, and if you don't put it in correctly, it might fall out when you are swimming. But If you've used them before and can put them in correctly, tell your mom you really want to do this and you'll be dedicated and keep your grades up and such. |
