So basically...

Last year over the summer I met this guy "Cole". It was only for ten days at a music festival and I'm usually shy around crushes so although we did talk some and exchanged e-mails it was much more just catching each other's stares (hehe)

we're still in touch right now, a year and a half later...but he's extremely smart and musically talented (Harvard and NEC!) SO he's reallly busy and so am I with hs and my music stuff making the corespondences like...once a month either by e-mail or AIM. I do have his number but I feel weird and kinda desperate if I call out of the blue. Plus its a bit scary for me that he's in collge cuz im a junior in hs...its only 2 yrs but still.

It's really killing me that I havn't seen him in so long, but if I get into this thing for school coming up in March I'll be able to see him(!) There havn't been any announcements about this program yet tho. He's told me that he wants to see me again too...even sorta joked about me sleeping over in his "common room"

...srry about the lenght of that...Just any comments would be great but I guess what it comes down to is: Do you think there's a chance he still likes me too?

i have yet to tell the guy i met about my feelings, just really caught up in school work lately. I've decided to hold off telling him until atleast i see him, which should be in just over a month, during the christmas holidays.

you've known ur guy for a much longer time though. and a 2 year difference really isn't a big deal. just cuz hes older doesn't mean he has intentions of molesting you or anything of the sort. i completely believe your judgement of him. i bet he's a really cool guy. but anyways.

i've thought about this whole situation, and one thing im worried about is the fact that BECAUSE these guys are in college, they have a wide circle of ppl that they see everyday and make contact with. and since they're soo busy through the day they may not always have time to think about us little highschoolers. I've been busy lately and have spent less time thinking about him. So it'd seem natural with all the stuff going on in colleges that it be even more like that for them if not the same....SO..i think it'd be a good idea to call him once in a while since you can. I can't call him since 1-i dont have his phone number even though i know he has a cell. and 2- calling from Canada to America is still considored long-distance. which are hella expensive.

so calling him once in a while won't seem desperate. But i think it'd remind him of you. not to intentionally distract him from school or anything. but you know, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. =D
