Bestfriends mean Forever, at least that's what I thought Options

I'm sure all of you have had a bestfriend before. We wouldent be complete without them. Honestly I believe you can't learn anything about yourself unless you have one. Well I have had a bestfriend since Kindergarten. The first day of kindergarten she came up to me and greeted me. We been bestfriends ever since. 13 year's now. And were known in school as "the best friends" everyone knows me from her, and everyone knows her from me. Were basically sisters, we never fought...untill now. And this time it's big.

It all started month's back, but I now just did something about it. She has another good friend who usually hangs out with us when we go to movies and everything. I never really liked her, and just kinda put up with her. Well with my busy schedule I wanted to go see a movie with my bestfriend Steph alone, and she wanted to come. I told her no, and thats when we started to fight. I'm no longer going to pertend i like her, i was only friends with her because of steph. Anyways... Steph feels caught in the middle.

Well the other day, Jamie, Steph's other good friend went to the hunted house to meet a guy. I met him because i ended up being there tour guide, he asked me for my number and he got mine. We talked alot to..well Jamie fliped out because he basically ditched her for me and my friend. So she and I are fight and shes crying to Steph and I go to school and see Steph.

She turned to me and was like "I dont mean to say this in a mean way, (then she paused) and goes, but "I think we need to take a break" I'm like No steph, and i looked her in the eyes and set the story staight. I cant let her take a break. I'm not ready to loose my bestfriend. I'm afraid if we do, that like we wont be friends again. And on top of that we have like 5 classes together, where were always laughing in and sitting next to eachother.

Well whenever Jamie comes up to us, she stops talking to me completly and talks just to her. I feel like shit. So what it basicaly comes down to, is things arnt the same.Were not laughing and having the fun were use to having. And as much as I dont want to take the break, I think it would be best. Even though shes over us taking a break.

I just never understood it, why do bestfriends take breaks? Arnt there suspto be there for eachother when they need them the most... when there at there breaking points and need a hug and need to be told everything would be okay. Thought so but i guess i was wrong.

boobooxpp, that's how we are. We been bestfriends since kindergarten and we know everything about eachother, sometimes we know so much about each other that we get annoyed. And I think you had a good point about me and Jamie putting alot of pressure on her, because I know I did, whenever I would get pissed at Jamie I would tell Steph, Jamie would always run back to Steph about me too. But I never have time to say it to Jamie cuz she always runs away from me.

Also I'm a cheerleader. I take it seriously, its my life, i do it all the time. It's changed me, I'm not the same person i use to be. I dont let people push me around anymore. i dont sit back and take shit, i stick up for myself. And I know thats one thing Steph misses about me. I heard her say it about me to another friend of mine. But I won't change that. So come Monday I'm going to try to prove to Steph that I am the same person I am, but my morals just changed. And another thing that doesnt help she never wanted me to become a cheerleader from the begining, but I took that chance and I love it.
