Alrighty, I have a header-image. I put it in the CSS background tag because I do want some text to overlap it.

But, for some insanely agitation reason, LJ simply will not interpret "center" as center. No, it interprets it as "right." It works when I plug that into an HTML page, but not on LJ. I've even put it into the Global Head tag. Still doesn't work. Anyone have any idea why that refuses to work?

LiveJournal in question

There's the journal if you want to see what it's doing. Ignore the entries and stuff. I haven't gotten to them yet. I've been wrestling with this estranged alignment issue.

It's official: Livejournal must be possessed, because yes, that looks centered for me.

I took out everything but the GLOBAL_HEAD (I threw some random junk under the LASTN_WEBSITE and LASTN_HEAD, nothing significant), pasted what you have, and it works.

Put my coding back under LASTN_HEAD, it croaks again. Lo and behold, it wasn't even the GLOBAL_HEAD coding. >_> I fixed it. Stupid thing. I wondered what was up.
