I used to think the guy should always be taller until I fell in love sitting down with a girl who was so funny and smart what was I gonna do, get mad at her for being a head taller than me? Several of her girlfriends are taller than me too and they tease me for being short, even tho I'm 5'10" which is average for a guy, but it's all in good fun. She always wins at basketball too and in her heels she is 9 inches taller than me!! Sure people stare and occasionally make stupid comments, but we just laugh, we love each other too much to care and we've been together almost 5 years! So I would definitely say the person is much more important than the height, but that doesn't mean you're shallow if you want the guy to be taller, it just means you know what you like and what you don't like! I don't know if I'll ever date a shorter girl again tho lol!
