Hey, I just call the originals (with japanese voicing and the like) Japanime, while Americanized anime (with English voices -- OH THE HORROR) is just called anime. I think that's what question is referring to? Anyways, Teen Titans--wait, wasn't that created in America, but they just put Japanese music as the song? Bleh IDK. Naruto--I have yet to see it haha. I haven't seen the dubbed ones yet. Yay for subtitles in Japanime!
But anyway, yes American anime should be considered anime, if it IS from Japan. I mean, they only difference is probably the censoring of things, maybe cutting out certain parts, and the voices. The drawings are still the same. Well okay, excluding One Piece (WTH, water guns?! ![]() Manga is 10 x more awesome. But then again, there's licensed manga, where it is translated and licensed in America. I miss online scanlations. ![]() |
