My friends and I were having a discussion about running in cold weather? Does it really have advantages?

Well, I live in NYC too... I'm on the cross-country team, and a couple of weeks ago, we had our bouroughs meet. The weather that day was in the 40s and we had to run in our uniforms (shorts and a jersey, but we were allowed to wear a long sleeve under the jersey). Turns out, I ran my fastest time that day, along with everyone else on the team...
And besides, you could always bundle up if you go out running in the cold weather. And, 55-60 weather is NOT cold. That's perfect weather to run in. |
