Getting paid over Daylight Saving Time

Something I've been wondering as of late. Consider this:

You work in a pizza shop that is open until 3 AM. You are working the morning that DST ends. You started work at 8 PM. You work until 2 AM, then, of course, the clocks shift back an hour. You then work two more hours until 3 AM and then you go home.

How long do you get paid for--seven hours, or eight? Does it make a difference if you use a time clock to punch in?
