I just thought of something, since the iPod Video was released, would it be considered an MP3 player or a Portable Media Player. Same with the iRiver H320 since it also has the ability to play videos.

QUOTE(xnofearx @ Oct 28 2005, 11:00 AM) I just thought of something, since the iPod Video was released, would it be considered an MP3 player or a Portable Media Player. Same with the iRiver H320 since it also has the ability to play videos. No, look at the Cowon iAudio x5. It can play videos, but its not a PMP. Basically, its a DAP that has the ability to play videos. Such as those small flash players (Not u10) that can play videos too. With their one or so screens. You know, like the iAudio u3. " Nope, because if you look at lots of reviews for it, you can't really play much on the iPod that you didn't make on iMovie or isn't from the iTunes music store, because not all the apps that convert movies to the 'right' format will actually work with every movie and stuff. So as of now, it's still mainly an MP3 player." What? That was completly pointless and not a reason for why it's not a PVP. And you can play movies that you didn't convert, but only if they were originaly what the video can support. Plus there are other ways to convert outside of iMovie. |
