When everyone found out I got into a relationship with someone, everyone hasnt been acting the same. All my friends keep comparing my boyfriend to their's and keep shoving into my face that their guys are better. Some of my friends keep flirting with him!! My boyfriend's friends have been teasing me and taking my stuff. We both tried to stop them from bothering us but..they just tease us some more. All my cousins keep saying SEND US A PICTURE OF HIM!! and since I'm the youngest in the family it doesnt really help. What should I do to get everyone to stop bothering us?!?!

simple: tell them to mind their own effing business
usually my retort to my guy's friends asking about our sex life is: "How about this? You stop being so damn interested in my sex life and get your own." ...but not really saying sex life. you have to set a line for your friends and family. for the friends who showoff their guys, tell them to stop bragging or just casually mention something get about your guy (e.g. something really sweet he did or ...how...he...kisses). for the flirty friends, you have to tell your guy to tell them to back off. it doesn't work when you approach them. they tend to do it more. so have your guy say, "listen, my girlfriend is your friend. i really like her so i hope you would stop flirting with me so much." as for your cousins, no harm in showing him off. |
