My bf's the really shy, sweet type... but recently it seems he's just a little to... goody-goody for lack of a better term... for me. So I've been thinking about breaking up with him for the past few weeks (we've been going out for 2 and a half months) but I think that I should probly have a better reason than that to break up. I don't want to hurt him. Our relationship is finally starting to be closer to what I would want it to be... but I don't like him as much as I did at the start... and I get the impression that he likes me more than I like him... it's also hard 'cause we go to different schools and that makes it harder to see each other... but I still can meet him a few times a week.
and then to make things more complicated, there's this guy at my school that i like... and he likes me too... we went to the football game together earlier tonight... and we sorta made out. I know, I'm a slut to have cheated on my boyfriend... but I like him a lot more than my boyfriend... now I'm trying to figure out how to break up with my bf... should I tell him about the new guy? or should I just leave it at telling him that I just don't feel the same way anymore? he's my first bf so I'm new to the whole breaking up thing... any help on what to say, when or where? |

important things about breaking up
DONT be specific as to WHY you're breaking up. its just hurtful. i know it'd seem like the logic thing to do, to give him a reasonable explanation. but try to be as vague as possible. also try not to do it in a public place. since hes so nice im sure you have no worries of him suddenly being violent towards you. but just try to save him as much dignity and respect as you can. |
