My Dream lies in Japan
(10/28/05)

I was left empty handed last August
I thought I knew what my life was for
Now that he walked away
I don't know anymore
He walked away, took a plane
My dream lies in Japan.

I walk aimlessly through the crowd
Singing the same sad song
Since he walked away
It's the only song I know
He walked away, took a plane
My dream lies in Japan.

An empty shell is all that's left of me
I only wish for ignorance to come back and be kind
Everything that I am walked away
Because my mind is the only thing that's alive
As I remembered he walked away, took a plane
My dream lies in Japan.

My words put on a funny show for people to see
A deceivable smile crosses my lips
I held my ground day after day
My happiness walked away
But I never dared showed I'm torn apart
Since the day he walked away, took a plane
My dream lies in Japan.

I look to the stars
Wondering if making a wish will make a point
What I believed in is shadowed
Who I was was taken away
Such a questionable belief in love now
I will never forget the day he walked away, took a plane
My dream lies in Japan.

My only dream lies in Japan.
