so this friday, my friend told me to go drinking with her and her friend.
they do it every weekend. i seemed to care before, about their health and stuff, but now i don't really. don't get me wrong, they're not forcing me to drink-- it's my decision. and i want to. so tell me, what are the risks? i know that if you drink too much you can like die. and that if you get caught then you can get fined/whatever. you might get addicted, it gives you a terrible hangover. and you might do something you regret. so what else? oh, one question. it might seem stupid, but say you drink once and you're applying for a job sometime in the next year or so. it won't show up will it? on the drug test, i mean. i know it's not a drug, but just making sure. |

the biggest (immediate) risks with drinking are passing out and vomitting, which can result in drowning in your own vomit (lovely, i know), or doing something stupid while your inhibitions are lowered, be it driving, hooking up with someone unsavoury, or falling/wandering int othe road, etc.
if some one passes out, lay them on their side so that vomit is most likely to clear their mouths, and try and have someone reamin fairly sober, so that they can ensure that no one does anything uberly stupid. ALWAYS have a designated driver. |
