Last time I checked, recognizing didnt mean supporting. Here theres people telling me that Im wrong because I said that America RECOGNIZES the holidays of other religions. I never said they SUPPORTED them, but people seem to think that they mean the same thing. Can someone enlighten everybody on the fact that theres a difference? I don't seem to be getting it done.

there is a difference in those to i mean

reconizing is just like you know that there is that particular holiday but you're not doing anything about it. like my school, they know that there's chinese new year but they don't give us a school holiday on during that period of time.

supporting it is like you know it's there and you acutally do something about it, like celebrating that holiday
