ok... when we are taking a vote on an issue, all committee members vote 'aye' or 'nay' or abstain
which begs the question, do we think that we need a majority for an issue to be passed, or merely the highest numer of ayes or nays. i'm, inclined to say that we need a majority, but that means it will be difficult to make decisions if we allow abstentions... |

then that means that really, forthe sake of being able to make decisions, we will not have abstentions.
which actually, makes sense. people joined this committee because they care about CB, and hence should be willing to decide one way or the other for an issue any major objections to that? |
