I'm having some issues with the Xanga skin tutorial that's listed on this site. I'm trying to get a layout based on this picture:

http://www.geocities.com/jade_faerie/layout1.jpg

but the <div> labels aren't working right--the sections appear underneath or above the image instead of on top of it.
Also, in the tutorial, it says that you should put the code into the "input header html" section--but I don't think that exists anymore. (I'm pretty new to Xanga; I used to be on Blogspot.) When I want to make a skin or customized layout, there's just one box for inputting all my code.

What should I do? Tips? Advice? Am I an idiot?! blink.gif

Oh wow.  I'm not sure what happened, but it seems to be working now ...  I don't know how that happened, but ... shrug.gif I won't fight it.  You can see it at:

However, there is still an issue or two.

1. What do I need to do to get my $Posts$ formatted in the CSS I specified in the head of the page?  The left $Profile_Info$ <div> seems to work, but not the right one.

2. How do I change how my posts are formatted in general--like what I want my date headers to look like, my "comments, eprops, whatever" line?

If I come up with any other problems I'll let you know too.

Here is my source code.

um.okay. your code is kinda confusing because you don't code xanga with the normal website coding. (head, title, etc.) but anyways...it looks right to me.

Oh yeah, and I'm having trouble getting my scrollbar to change color.  It's just so awkward, especially in gray, but unfortunately necessary ... ::le sigh:: The sacrifices I make.

Here is the code I tried to use to make the scrollbar change.  It's set in the head of the document.

& your scrollbars are colored as well.
