Okay, here's the deal. I know this is possible - I've seen it done (and with HTML).

I'm trying to find a way to code it so I have two background images on a single page (in my Xanga, but that's irrelevant). I want one of the images to repeat in all directions (which I have coded to do right now - that's the easy part).

Here's where it gets tricky. I want a second image to originate in the bottom right-hand corner, NOT repeating, but sitting atop the other image (yeah, layered backgrounds). And I want it to stay fixed right there, so when you scroll the page, the actual PAGE moves, but the image stays in the same spot on the screen.

Okay, ready? GO!

no, that's not doing what i want. actually, the whole "style" section of that code is doing diddly squat.

and i know i've seen it done, because i've seen people have one background with another image over top of it, but the text then goes over TOP of the second image - showing that it's coded in as a background too.

i just wish i could find these people so i could ask 'em.

thanks for the help, though. i *MIGHT* be able to do something with the div to make do for the time being.

edit: actually, yeah, i did make it work, for the time being. i just put the image into my website stats box (which is really just basically a footer box), with the align to the right. so it makes do for the time being. it's not what i want at all (so i'd still like it if someone could help me out, PLEASE), but this does the trick for now.

actually, one thing i just noticed i made a mistake earlier is that i just said HTML, but it's gotta be in CSS. yeah. i've got my xanga all fancied up with CSS, so the code's gotta be in that. sorry.
