Why did you choose that?
I would never break-up with anyone by e-mail or voicemail because that just seems really.. cowardly to me. Online, it allows the other person to save face, and it saves you the guilt and the trouble of having to comfort them while listening to their tears; it also gives you more time to think about how you want to say things, etc. However, this is also somewhat cowardly, and it just seems... heartless. On the phone, you don't have to physically face the person, but how do you cope with listening to their painful reaction? In person, face-to-face is perhaps more difficult to do, but it's the most.. I don't know.. this way, I guess, shows that you care. This probably hurts the most, though. Just curious. |

For me, if I'm with someone, I at some point or another really cared for them. And If I really care for someone I would want to do everything I could to make it as easy for them as possible. If i did it in person, it shows that i'm not a coward, plus you can explain yourself and they are more likely to believe the reason you give them if you tell them in person (atleast from my experience)
