Why did you choose that?
I would never break-up with anyone by e-mail or voicemail because that just seems really.. cowardly to me. Online, it allows the other person to save face, and it saves you the guilt and the trouble of having to comfort them while listening to their tears; it also gives you more time to think about how you want to say things, etc. However, this is also somewhat cowardly, and it just seems... heartless. On the phone, you don't have to physically face the person, but how do you cope with listening to their painful reaction? In person, face-to-face is perhaps more difficult to do, but it's the most.. I don't know.. this way, I guess, shows that you care. This probably hurts the most, though. Just curious. |

The only sincere way to break up with someone is face to face.
Although my one ex-boyfriend broke it up over the phone and I thought that was kind of nice of him because we only really had time to see each other at school and he knew I loved him and would cry if it was over. But I still think alone and face to face is best. |
