For me...

Personaility:

- NOT OBSESSED WITH CARS
- Nice (ofcourse) and just a bit gentlemenly, aka, gets a chair for you, opens doors etc. but don't be overly like that, or else it gets tiresome
- PAYS ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING
- it's ok to be obseesed with something, like computers and I GUESS cars as long as you don't rattle on aobut them for hours
- Fun (if this doesn't come naturally for you in front of your girlfriend it probably will once oyu get to know her better, so maybe for the first few dates just stick with being nice, always keep the conversation going, you know)
- Funny (if you can. But once again, we're not all comics, to make up for it be especially in tone with what the girl likes and just be nice)
- Caring (duh)
- don't say he loves you after first date (like she's gonna buy that)
- Is sensible. What I mean by that is doesn't smoke, drives safely, doesn't get drunk etc. Show your girlfriend you arn't reckless.
- and please, PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT SHE IS SAYING, I cannot say that enough.

Enough on personaility, time for looks:

- Thin (I'm sorry, I can't help it), you don't have to have muscle, but if you do than grrrreat.
- For hair, I don't really care, just whatever works for you
- Clean clothes, and not really big and baggy. Maybe if your not great at dressing yourself ask your friends to help you for your first date, or your...mom? lol, it depends what mom you have though.
- No nose rings. Please, spare me.
