well i learned about sex education in middle school, but it wasn't like the high school version. in high school there is more information shown and taught. but should sex ed. be shown throughout middle school or even elementary school? i say that it should be shown through middle school because most kids in high school have already had sex or are pregnant, so whats the point of starting sex ed in high school, when some students have already been through things dealing with sex. this one girl in my sex ed. class was like "i wish i knew about sex before", because her parents never actually told her about sex. they told her about it when she got into high school. i just think that sex ed., should be taught to studnets before they get to high school.

i didn't know what sex was untill 6th grade when i looked it up.
 last year, taking an elective class, was the first time i was taught was sex was, and it was just mentioned in passing. actually, it wasn't taught, it was just in the book. |
