You're all so possessive. Not wanting your boyfriend to comment on the way he views another person is one thing, but getting mad over it? Too much, far too much. He's not engaging in flirtatious activity, he's not holding hands and rubbing noses, he's holding books and saying, "You're very beautiful." What if she was crying because she felt that she wasn't beautiful (which I disagree with also, but that's another story) would you try to restrain him from saying, "No, of course you're beautiful!"?
Just because somebody compliments another person on their looks, or how much fun they are, or anything like that, does not mean they're flirting and you have no logical reason to be upset other than your own insecurities. A significant other/spouse is not a possession, it's just as it says. Significant other. One who isn't you, but lies on an equal plain. Allow them to make decisions and live life accordingly. I guess I'm just ranting here, but it seems like such a close-minded thing to say. "No you cannot compliment other people. Your compliments better be aimed at me." I still love you, though. <3 EDIT: 3 AM makes you extremely hyper, but also extremely outspoken. Sorry. |
