But I really like the feeling of getting an unexpected PM from anyone on Createblog. I like to read what people took their time out of their life to write me.
I also like to open emails and read them. And seeing the "New Friend Request!" or "New Comment!" or "New Message" on Myspace whenever I sign in. I also like when on Xanga when instead of "Add Comment", it's "1 Comment." Yeah, I confess. Anyone else like this feeling? Or are you just plainly confused about what this whole topic is about? Well I could see how some people wouldn't like the feeling. Like if you have like 10123014098234 friends on Myspace then it wouldn't be a surprise to get new friends. Or if people sends you a PM almost every day, and you have to open like 20 PM's a day about their problems then I wouldn't be excited, I would be pretty pissed. QUOTE i really dig it when people IM me first. I was thinking about that one last night, too. This post has been edited by Cake.: Oct 16 2005, 10:16 AM |

'New Messages.'I really don't care. Because, 9 times out of 10, its an email from a girl who wants me to go to a party or club with her and have me hold her hair while she prays to porcelain God. Or its some guy who either wants me to help spread the word on their party so its not a sausage fest.
If I see 'reply to your post,' its generally a dumbass response to a post that contained nothing but rhetoric. 'New Comment' generally is a proclamation of, not undying love, but more a neverending declaration of my 'hawtn3sz!' 'New Picture Comment' is something along the lines of how some girl wants to have my babies. 'New Blog Comment' means that someone takes a jab at giving me advice or figuring me out after reading a poem. Maybe I'm not an attention whore like the majority of the people on MySpace (particularly the kids that shouldn't be on there to begin with), or maybe I desire a more sincere form of attention. Whatever the case is, I could relate to you... 3 years ago. |
