I just swallowed a straight pin... you know like the ones you use to keep stuff down when you're sewing?
Nobody's home and I don't know any of my relatives' phone numbers. What should I do? |

no need for 911.
just wait till someone comes home, tell them, and then go to the ER. they'll X ray you there and determine if it'll come out alright, or if they have to go in and get it. |

He's right. If you're in pain, then you need to call 911 because its latched in your throat. However, if its not, its just going to stay in your stomach for a while. Then, you might crap it out, or it might need to be taken out. I actually understand how you would swallow that pin without damaging yourself. |
