It's too bad that you can't see all the germs and bacterias and fecal matters that end up on your vegetables. Not to mention the chemicals and genetic tampering that scientists do to them. Vegetables grow from little cute seeds into strong plants. Then one day a big machine comes a long with big sharp whirling razors that just slice their heads off. The vegetables bleed out mucus and sap and their nutrients. Does anyone feel bad for them? Why can't plants have "lives" too? It's such a narrow view to apply "life" to just animals. Hope you notice the sarcasm.
I'm going to keep eating my meat AND vegetables. That's what humans have always done for millenias and I'm not going to stray from evolution. We didn't get here by eating vegetables or meat alone. It doesn't make you any more saintly than other people. It's just a lifestyle choice and to all his own. |
