Abusive Relationships, the warning signs Options

I took a Women's Studies class this semester, and one of the topics we spent alot of time on was relationship violence. I learned that alot of people don't even know what the true definition of relationship violence is. Because I love you guys so much and wouldn't want anything to happen to any of you, I thought it might be a good idea to make a post about this, god forbid you ever find yourselves in a situation like this.

Warning Signs of An Abusive Relationship

• the person you are with is extremely jealous or possessive towards you
• they try to control you; are bossy and / or demanding
• violent
• pressures you sexually
• abuses drugs and / or alcohol
• claims you are responsible for their emotional state
• blames you when you are mistreated
• you worry how they will react to things you say or do
• they grew up witnessing an abusive parental relationship or was abused as a child
• you leave and return to your partner repeatedly against advice of family and love ones
• trouble ending relationship even though inside you feel its the right decision
• your partner discourages your relationships with friends and / or family
• your partner prevents or discourages you from working, interacting with friends or attending school
• your partner destroys or takes your personal property or sentimental items
• threats towards you, your family / friends
• threats of weapon(s) usage
• pushing, slapping, hitting, punching, kicking, biting, etc.
• being forced to have sex against your will, or sexual acts you are uncomfortable with
• humiliation of you by your partner in front of others ( i.e. jokes at your expense )

This is cool...i have to tell my friend about this cause her boy fits most of it. And i'm starting to think that he hits her. But she's not sayin anything. She'll me things like how he pushes her... but she backs that up by saying that he's just messing around. I want to get her out of there.. b4 he ends up killing her...
