my BEST friends crush!?!, why? Options

i don't want to seem like some kind of whore that just steals guys from her best friends. i'm honestly not like that. but this guy that my friend likes, i like him too. and i'm not sure what to do.

we talk to him before school, during lunch (off campus, we hang out) and after school for a long time. my friends flirts out in the open with him.. and i feel bad for her because she hasn't had a boyfriend since fifth grade. We're sophomores in tenth grade now. I really want her to have a nice decent boyfriend, but i can't really help my feelings.

we have a football game to go to tomorrow, and he's in drumline with the band. i don't know if i should tell her or not, because this has happened before.

i went out with someone that she liked. but it was in my favor, because i liked him first and he liked me back. and she told me to go out with him. i know i shouldn't have though..

i feel SO horrible for this.. but i REALLY don't know what to do. i love her to death... and i don't want to hurt her again, i think i should keep my mouth shut and focus on someone else, but i don't know..

as you can see i'm screwed.

^yeah, you should tell her. rather lose a crush that you'll probably get over in a while then lose a best friend. of course she'll get a little angry at you but she'll be greatful in a way that you told her. explain to her that you don't want to really compete with her for it.
