Why did you choose that?
I would never break-up with anyone by e-mail or voicemail because that just seems really.. cowardly to me. Online, it allows the other person to save face, and it saves you the guilt and the trouble of having to comfort them while listening to their tears; it also gives you more time to think about how you want to say things, etc. However, this is also somewhat cowardly, and it just seems... heartless. On the phone, you don't have to physically face the person, but how do you cope with listening to their painful reaction? In person, face-to-face is perhaps more difficult to do, but it's the most.. I don't know.. this way, I guess, shows that you care. This probably hurts the most, though. Just curious. |

depends on what kind of relationship.
if it was something serious, then face to face in a private or semi private setting (with no limit on time) is the best. however, if it was something casual, or had not progressed, instant messanger or phone will work. and then, if it wasn't really a relationship, but the other person just thought so or something, email is fine. |
