so okay, pleassse don't think of me as shallow after you read this. i'm just really confused. to make a reallly long story short, awhile ago i was going out with this guy.. we'll call him Bob. I broke up with Bob because he kept flirting with other girls. Then I went out with....we'll call him George. All was well but i started feeling like George was more of a good friend than a boyfriend to me. Bob started liking me again.. I broke up with George... so Bob and I went back out. That was all good and fine but he dumped me after a week because he "wanted to get over the others girls he liked before we went out". supposedly. So whatever... I went back out with George.. cause I was lonely. and liked him a lot. So now for the present-- I'm going out with George, and Bob has started flirting with me again. I suppose you never really forget the ones you love... because I realize I like Bob more like a b/f than a friend, and like George more as a friend than a b/f... So I'm stuck here not knowing what to do. I'm afraid everyones gonna think I'm shallow if I dump George, or what if history repeats itself and I go back out with Bob all in vain? but then if I stick with George... I will never know what could've happened. so many what if's...
I hope this wasn't too long.. I'm just really confused and need some advice.. Thanks so much for the help. |

well...i would go with bob. but that could end up where george will think you as shallow...but you should work out your problems and tell bob & george how you feel...and don't let history repeat itself. if bob keeps flirting with other girls then maybe he isn't the right one for you. after all i wouldn't be happy either..but if that happens, don't get back with george..even though you could be lonely..it'll just lead to more depression
