I hate when people say that.

There are these guys and they think they're cool cause they hate these "preps" such as clothes like Abercrombie and stuff. They think it's stupid shopping there for clothes that "just come in different colors". So basically, they go to Hot Topic because they have "big pants, cd's, and band shirts". Pretty lame, huh. Hot Topics just as expensive.

But that's not the point.

So the other day they were all "Ew, Jenny, you're wearing a polo. My mom bought me like 4 polos a couple months ago and I burned them."

Now, it's not only him. I guess it's like 3 or 4 other people because they're so cool.

And I reply "You burn polos? Your mom has the heart to buy you clothes and you're wasting money by doing that?"

And he goes "WELL, IT'S NOT MY MONEY."


I wonder how many people say that, "Well it's not my money, it's my parents'."

That pisses me off so much. Who cares if it's not YOUR money, it's your parents' money and it's like the same thing. If your parents go broke and can't pay the bills, don't YOU have a part in that? Because YOU would be the one without a house, ALSO.

So my question is, how many people have heard people say that and how do you feel about that?

i myself wouldnt be caught dead in a polo or hollister , but thats because A) i dont like those clothes and B) i dont want to look like the girls who wear that at my school -- theyre snobby horrible bitches , seriouslly . thats the nicest term i can use .

but its just ridiculous to burn clothes . the little idiot was just trying to show out . cuz i mean , if my mother bought me something i'd still be grateful she got it for me , she was thinkin of me apparently . but by the sounds of it , those are the From First To Last , TBS , FallOutBoy kids who think they're punk rad when in fact they're annoying and stupid as f*ck .

eh ... people are stupid ... go punch em in the face next time ... well , a group of angry goths isnt good ... hrmm ... just tell them to f*ck off or something .... or pour yellow paint on them , that ought to get em good ....

1)She isn't making the argument of Abercrombie vs Hot Topic or something like that. She is just stating that kids waste clothes
2)What do you listen to that is soo punk rawk hardxcore ehh?
3)You seem like someone who would hate to be judged, yet you are judging the kids who said that about hot topic. How do you know what they listen to, let alone how you dress.
