There are quite a few differences, for instance Christians don't believe in Mary...ok wait let me rephrase that, they don't believe in worshipping Mary, like Catholics do. we have statues of Mary, because we believe that as Jesus' mother, she deserves recognition. Christians consider this idol worship and therefore do not have statues of her. Also Christians do not reference "God", they reference Jesus. they believe more that Jesus is the father, son and the holy spirit...as where catholics believe there is a Father, a son, and a holy spirit...all seperate entities. I believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but that does not make me "christian" |
