If you were me .. what will you do with a mother who forces you to believe in God, attend mass every Sunday and pray?
![]() I'm going to mass in 3 minutes. |

I told my mom I don't believe in God when we were arguing about going to a two hour conservative service (Judaism). She seemed kind of shocked and stuff, so did my brother (don't know about my dad, but I don't think he cares, thankfully), yet I still have to go to services. Like Yom Kippur is coming up, I have to go to that...
I guess it's to support my culture and stuff, since Judaism has grown so small in the world of religions. As for you, like everyone else said, she can't force you to believe in God. As for making you go to mass, I don't know what to say. Perhaps you could try talking it out with her, telling her that no matter what you still won't believe in God so it's pointless... *sigh* I'll stop now, I don't think I'm progressing any further than that. |
