I don't think anyone here thinks it is healthy to smoke, either weed or tobacco, sorry if it comes across that way. I never said it was 'good' or 'bad'. Obvioulsy you will have side effects from any substance that enters your body including food. Anything alters your balance. And my statement about the great minds using drugs and pot was in response to this sentence.
QUOTE have no faith that a pothead who cannot type coherent sentences posses any kind of real knowledge at all. Yes a lot of 'druggies' and 'alcoholics' as you write have contributed just as much as ''normal'' people have, which was just to note that the drugs etc may have an effect on you but that doesn't mean that you are suddenly going to stop being intelligent or having ideas. Ideas that change the whole mentality of generations to come. It may affect your intelligence but not to such an extent that you can't think anymore. Although, that obviously depends on the quantity, quality and regularity of your 'sessions'. I believe that taking a drug from time to time, is not going to have a huge effect on your health. Probably, why I considered smoking more hazardous. I guess I link smoking tobacco with chain smokers and weed with occasional weed users. And in a way, I find it unfair that weed is treated like such a terrible drug, when in reality I am more affected by the people smoking around me in public spaces. (can u believe a guy was smoking in a lift???) But then again I would need to read a study where the two were consumed in the same exact conditions: filters, frequency and amount, to make my mind up about which is 'healthier' of the two. |
