I've only tried amazing counter but today, i couldn't go to their website. I wanted to try cool counters but they never sent my password to me, so is there another good hit counter that you know??

This one is REALLY good. Not only does it give you a public display on your Xanga, but they also send you updates as frequently as you want. PLUS - it tracks WHERE the visitors are viewing your page AND it will show you a bunch of cool things about their web browser, IP address, and how long they view your page. It's a free sign up and you can reset the count whenever you want.
