Yes, guys do cry. You aren't human if you don't cry about anything at all. If you don't cry, then how are you capable of smiling and frowning? It's just society has put such an emphasis specifically on guys crying that many think they can't or shouldn't or shouldn't let others see.
First, you should never stop yourself from crying. BUT there are times when you shouldn't let someone see you cry. And that is when you're going through a breakup. As a guy, you should never let a girl see you cry when you guys are breaking up. When girls see a guy cry (over them), it tugs at their heart like crazy and it makes them want to stay. However, they're only staying because they feel bad, not because they want to. If you want to find out how they really feel, don't cry to them. Go home and cry to your pillow. Losing a loved one is hard, and crying is sometimes the best thing you can do when you have no one to talk to. Talk to your pillow and let your tears be the words. In time, you will get tired of crying and life will be better. PS. Just because a guy moves on with his life (has a new girl) after he cried over one does not necessarily mean his tears are insincere. It jus means he's moved on with his life. |

I think I almost cried once. It was kind of a hurt beyond crying. The kind where you find out your girlfriend of two weeks agreed to go out with another guy without even thinking about how she was giong out with you. Yeah. |
