Im doin this one paper I need to do it to pass this class and I can't figure some problems out has to do with solving equations. can anyone help?

Hmm, for the second question, you subtract (1/2)d from 2d.
You then get 3/8 = 3/2 d. Then, you divide both sides by 3/2 (or multiply by the reciprocal: 2/3). The 3s cancel out, and you then get 2/8 = d. Simplify and you get d = 1/4. |
