Okay...well I need some advice...ummm..I have a baby by my exboyfriend..we've been seperated for almost a year now, cause he had a really bad drinking problem and now he has a drug problem...well not anymore cause he went into rehab...anyway, We were together for 5 years and we have a kid together, and we want to try it again, we really want to be together and start out life over, and raise out son together. I do Love him with all my heart...BUT I AM REALLY SCARED....I DONT WANT TO PUT UP WITH THE DRINKING OR DRUGS ANYMORE...DO YOU THINK PEOPLE CAN CHANGE??

I agree with KissMe2408.. wait a while before getting together. No matter how much you still love him, your son's safety is more important than anything else. If you can, observe him for a few weeks or months. It's true people change, but better safe than sorry, i guess.
