In short, facebook is like an updated college yearbook. I admit, I was jealous seeing my older brother using the site and I couldn't but now, I too can . It's just a little lonely but that's only because my highschool people are slow on things, some still haven't even decided which college to go to. So who has one? Not saying you'd do this but...

Lets say you meet a guy online who's 19 and you tell him you're 17 or 18. Both of you start to really like each other and sooner or later you guys are letting lust cloud judgement and there's erotic wordplay sent back and forth through messages. Well, if your mother or father got ahold of it, and took it to the police, he could be slapped with a misdemeanor for solicitation of a minor for lewd conduct. If he acts on it, even though he thinks you're 17/18, the statuatory rape charge has been changed in 2003 to be just plain 'rape,' and he'll be a convicted sex offender for the rest of his life.
