Who takes a second english [besides English] at school? If so, what language? Spanish? French? other? Also, when you started and is it hard to catch on to the language and are you able to speak fluently yet? :)
Or, are you in some type of extended or immersion program? Just wondering. I take french (Canadian) and I am currently in IB, so the french has gotten a lot more intense this year. I can speak fluently in simple ways, but I know theres a lot more to learn.. I've just been having difficulty lately with all these french immersion kids in my french classes :/ |

I took italian in high school for two years. I would of taken it longer but at the time I wasn't interested in school. I also took it in college, i'm a freshman right now, but dropped out the 3rd week. I couldn't stand the teacher. It's something petty but oh well.
I can read italian better than I can speak. It depends. My aunt lives in italy, moved there in her 20's, so i know enough just by her which she taught me when I was just four. It's not that hard but if you have no interest in it you get exactly what you give - nothing. |
