css help, jus a quick q Options

i wanted to change the way links look online in the blogbody for xanga...
my first idea was to umm embedd (sp) it... look at the example below-->

{
a:link
{
  text-decoration: underline overline;
  font-weight: bold;
}
}</style>

but that didnt work... any input on this matter would be greatly helpful...
