How does everyone feel about the misplaced children of Hurricane Katrina? Were parents irresponsbile for the separation between them and their children? Or is the government to blame for these misplaced children due to their slow response?

whenever something that horrific strikes, the first thing you think about is yourself. fight or flight, that's how human beings work...besides, everyone was freaking out so it's not the parents' fault that the kids disappeared from their sight...
