How does everyone feel about the misplaced children of Hurricane Katrina? Were parents irresponsbile for the separation between them and their children? Or is the government to blame for these misplaced children due to their slow response?

Yeah, I don't blame the parents, I don't blame the government -- at least not he national government (aka Bush)-- if you really study it, like yummy_delight mentioned, the governor or N.O. waited to the last possible minute. From what I hear the whole government system is pretty corrupt over there. Everyone keeps blamin Bush when he issued the emergency evacuation as soon as he could.
