Does anyone else have parents that don't act their age?
My dad is really funny. He's like a geeky teenager in an adult body. He got CounterStrike earlier this year, and he hasn't stopped playing since. He's on the comp more than my brother and I have to fight with him to get online sometimes! The scary thing? The words "pwned" and "noob" have become permanent mainstays in his vernacular. Like when he cuts someone off on the freeway. "HA. That guy got pwned." When I do something stupid. "Geez, Lauren. You're such a noob." Just a reminder, this is my over 40 year old FATHER we're talking about. I don't hate having him act this way. I just think it's hilarious. Sometimes I think I can talk to him and relate to him better because he acts like a younger guy. Anyone else have this going on in their life? |

In some ways, my dad tries to.
I just hate it when that happens. I just wish for him to be one of those dad's who are serious. I'm just one of those wierd people. >> << |
