So, I am aware that relationships based on appearance is extremely shallow, and yes, I have to admitt i have sunk to that level a few times. Yet, i have to admitt that two of my longest relationships came from "love at first sight".
ANYWAY, last weekend at the fair i asked this boy i have never seen before out. And, he SAID NO. I was so shocked as were my friends. When i wake up in the morning, i honestly don't see a monster. *sigh* i just feel so sad, although this is so stupid. Anyone been throught the same thing? |

Since you've never seen him before, it was pretty much inevitable that you'd be turned down, hot or not. Everyone gets rejected at some point, and you've got a higher possibility of striking out if you randomly ask out someone you don't know.
You are by no means a monster. In fact, I bet you're pretty cute if you're overreacting this way to one itsy bitsy rejection that doesn't mean a damn thing. Deep breaths. Of course this is a sucker punch to your pride, but let's face it. You didn't have any REAL emotional feelings for this guy so it doesn't even matter. |
