Politicians sure love to talk about violent, bloody games like Grand Theft Auto, Mortal Kombat, and Postal. I just finished reading this one article on PC Gamer (was bored) and despite what people like Hilary Clinton and Jack Thompson have been ranting about all this time, violent and firearm-related crimes and teenage homicides have actually declined even after the release of the Playstation, and is still lower than 20 years ago when 'violent' games like "Mario Bros." were coming out.

I agree. I played LOTS AND LOTS of violent games (god of war, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, Blood Rayne, etc...) and I never commited an act of violence (except towards my sister). Same with my friends. Only people who have certain "situations" immitate violent acts from a videogame. When I DO commit an act of violence, it's usually because that kid called me a goth and even if I never played videogames, I still know how to kill someone (well I haven't but I know how to).

Adults really misunderstand us. They think we do things because we think it's "cool" or because we want to be "center of everything" but really we do those things because we have a problem with a certain someone. Usually the reason why youths get violent is because of being tortured when inside the house or because of being neglected by a family... so it's not really videogames' fault.
