Politicians sure love to talk about violent, bloody games like Grand Theft Auto, Mortal Kombat, and Postal. I just finished reading this one article on PC Gamer (was bored) and despite what people like Hilary Clinton and Jack Thompson have been ranting about all this time, violent and firearm-related crimes and teenage homicides have actually declined even after the release of the Playstation, and is still lower than 20 years ago when 'violent' games like "Mario Bros." were coming out.

haha. we wrote an essay on this in social studies once.
no, i believe they don't. neither does music. kids usually beat kids up because they have a feud, or they're having a bad day and need to take it out on someone. kids get in fights because they hate eachother for stuppid reasons [i.e: i hate you cuz your white. i hate you cuz your black. i hate you cuz you gotz a mothereffing ugly haircut]
stuff like that. but, its not like they're getting in fights because they saw some pixelated dude shoot a gun.
this is for teens and older kids, however.

now younger kids are different. they have a tendency to copy things from games, because they think it's cool. my 5 year old brother is a game freak, and sometimes he comes up to me with one of his fake swords and says "IM GONNA SHOOT YOU CASSIE BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!" and goes crazy. why? i dunno. mabye its because they don't know that much about society yet, seeing as they haven't been in chool very long or whatnot.
