if anyone's interested in debating about this, i'll argue right now that i think it's impossible. this might also lead to arguing about whether creation or evolution is right....but i firmly believe it's impossible.
i also believe that this world could not have evolved itself from nothing. too many contradictions and impossible bridges to cross. especially the flagellum theory. and the fact that what DID the world evolve from then? what was the beginning? how could we have evolved from NOTHING?? neways...my point is since we were created by a God (i'm not saying what kind of god)....that God created all human beings with a sould. no matter how much science is advanced, man cannot clone or make a new soul. therefore even if they tried cloning, either the body will be a vegetable, or clearly disfunctional and screwed up in numerous ways. it will never be a normal living thinking loving human being. |

QUOTE(dahoonpride @ Sep 25 2005, 8:40 AM) i heard they did clone them. i also heard that they turned out to be horrible mutant freaks and to somehow had to dispose of them and hide as much possible from the public. if that's just a stupid rumor (which might be), and they were nice and healthy and (living?), why wouldn't they at least publicize the pictures to show their success. and they wouldn't just dispose of the cloned babies just because of morality issues right after they invested millions of dollars on them. morality issue is probably an excuse for them to not show the freak babies cuz why would they be cloning them in the first place and working on it for years if they had morality problems with it? and when i said is human cloning possible...i meant living healthy thinking loving humans....not flesh and bones at this time the sucess ratefor a normalhuman clone is probably1 in 10,000. since only afew have been created, and they aren't let to develop past afew cells, i don't know how you're asserting that. and i don't think you understand the moral issues of science. it was a devout christian who invented embryonic stem cell methods because aborted babies are the source of adult stem cells, which he found immoral it was a christian based company that first got stem cells toremain undifferentiated without any nonhuman tissue. try to understand the world of science before you question it. |
