ok well i finally saved up some money so that i could custom build my computer. i got all the parts set them all up correctly but i don't get any signal in my monitor. i know it's not my monitor that it has to be my video card. i plugged in the power cord but i still can't get it to work. the card is compatible with my mother board. there is one thing that concerns me. i have a pci express video card, and after i plug in all the cords there is this yellow plug on the video card and i don't know wat it is for. so please help me i really want to get it running.

The "yellow thing" is a video-in jack. I'm assuming you have the VIVO version, which means that you are able to watch television and record signals from video.

That kind of connection is optional and I don't think that's part of your monitor problem.

(Make sure to give the suffix of your X800 next time too)
