Since it doesn't seem to be taking off in moderator performance, and the only one got closed, we shall discuss here (even though it's less fun being official)

i liked the hobbit then.
boxcar children was certainly a favorite, along with animorphs. furtherback, i remember some henrietta the hen books, some bernstein bears books, tonka books. doctor seuss, was of course a staple. and then in the later years there was harry potter and the 'so you want to be a wizard' series. |
